JSH: Simplest explanation

One thing I keep coming back to is the reaction, or lack of appropriate reaction, from the bulk of the mathematical community to my discoveries, and the great but unfortunate thing about the factoring problem is that you can see just how bad it is, as well as how stupid.

Like, how could these people think they could get away with just ignoring powerful new factoring relations?

How?

The simplest explanation is that they got away with so much before, like having a flawed argument cheered as a proof of Fermat's Last Theorem (and a fairly obviously flawed one at that) and with blocking acceptance of an actual proof of Fermat's Last Theorem that they are just going for broke with the same strategy.

The difference now though is that any of you who can re-derive those simple factoring congruences know that those people must be fakes and frauds.

And it's not really all that amazing.

We had Enron, and we have the war in Iraq.

Over and over again you get situations where one group of people get played for fools by another group, which can still maintain itself even AFTER it has been outed, like how the Bush administration now does.

But being willfully wrong does not give you real mathematical knowledge, and it does not give you a basis for real satisfaction with the effort you put into learning various mathematical topics where frauds have given a lot of false information.

And why do they do it?

Why would Bush lead a nation to war when objective reporting today says he and his people made over 900 false statements in the lead up?

Didn't they expect to get caught? Didn't they care?

I turned to the factoring problem because with my previous mathematical research math people could just ignore it without fear.

Those factoring congruences are all about creating a situation where they cannot just ignore a major mathematical result.

And the wonder of the situation now is that they are trying to ignore it anyway.

Which shows at the end that they really knew nothing really about mathematics at all.

I guess people like that think it's all just a show, all just junk to be used for selfish ends as if the math would never come and get them, as if there were nothing noble enough about it to stop them, as if the truth were too weak to ultimately win.

They act as if there is no value in this life: no real truth, and no real beauty.
